Welcome to The Tutor Room. By enrolling in our tuition services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to ensure a smooth and professional experience for all students and parents.
1. Lesson Attendance and Cancellations
- Lessons are scheduled in advance, and your allocated time slot is reserved specifically for you.
- Missed lessons or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full and will only be rescheduled if it is possible to do so at our discretion.
- If you provide more than 24 hours’ notice, we will make every effort to reschedule the lesson to another available slot, subject to availability. Please note that rescheduled lessons must take place within the same calendar month where possible.
2. Payments
- Tuition fees are to be paid weekly in advance, via GoCardless (Subscription).
- A payment request will be issued, and payment must be received prior to your lesson to confirm the booking.
- Non-payment may result in the cancellation of future sessions.
3. Ending Tuition
- If you wish to end your tuition with The Tutor Room, a minimum of 2 weeks’ written notice must be provided.
- Notice should be sent via email to: admin@thetutorroom.co.uk
- Lessons during the notice period must be paid for as usual.
4. General Policies
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to ensure consistent academic progress.
- The Tutor Room reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions with reasonable notice provided to clients.
